SICILY. Naxos. Circa 415-403 BC. Litra (Silver, 11 mm, 0.83 g, 9 h). NAXI Head of bearded Dionysos to left, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. Bunch of grapes on vine with two leaves and tendrils. Cahn, Naxos, Group III, 92-6 var. (unlisted dies). HGC 2, 972. Obolos 35 (2024), 1084 (same dies). SNG ANS -. Attractively toned and of lovely Classical style. Slightly rough and with light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
